Activate · App Push & In-App Messaging
Reach members on their lock screen — and inside your app.
App push and an in-app message center join the same send stack as email — one shared limit on how often a member is contacted, an automatic fall-back to another channel, and the same personalization. Authored right in the campaign canvas, no separate tool.
Two ways to reach members
Push to pull them back. In-app to land it while they're here.
Two complementary modes for different moments — not either/or. Same audiences and governance behind both.
App push notifications
Rolling outA notification on the lock screen that reaches a member even when your app is closed — the only mode that can. It joins the same automation and sends as email: if push can't reach a member it falls back to another channel, under one shared limit on how often a member is contacted. Device registration is live; delivery is turned on per brand for gradual rollout.
Best for
- ▸Win-back — pull a lapsed member back into the app
- ▸Time-sensitive offers, drops, expiring points or coupons
- ▸Order and loyalty status alerts
- ▸Reaching members when the app is closed
In-app message center (inbox)
LiveA quiet inbox inside your app: a campaign's message lands here in addition to push and email, with unread counts and a read state — so it doesn't need push permission and won't buzz a phone at night. (Realtime pop-in is on the roadmap; the inbox and auto-drop on send are live.)
Best for
- ▸Nudges during an active session (onboarding, next-best-action)
- ▸Non-urgent merchandising that shouldn't interrupt
- ▸Reaching members who muted push — still reachable in-app
- ▸A durable inbox members can revisit, not a one-shot alert
Author push like email. Drop a Push step into the visual campaign canvas, write the copy or generate it with AI, and personalize with the same merge-tags as email — resolved per member. Save reusable push templates across campaigns. No separate tool, no code.
Straight about status
Wired today; delivery rolling out per brand.
Registration, authoring and the in-app inbox are built and working today. Push delivery is turned on per brand for a controlled rollout — we won't claim “live at scale” before it is.
Bring-your-own push credentials
Each brand uses its own Apple and Android push credentials — encrypted, self-serve in Settings.
Author push in the campaign canvas
A drag-in step beside Email — AI copy, the same personalization, reusable templates.
One shared frequency cap + waterfall
Push counts toward the same reach limit as email and falls back to another channel automatically.
In-app message center (inbox)
Campaign copy auto-drops into a durable inbox with unread + read state.
App push delivery (per-team rollout)
Device registration and sending are wired; delivery is turned on per brand.
Realtime in-app pop-in
Live pop-in while a member is in-session — on the roadmap.
Trust & privacy
Consent first, isolated per brand.
Consent first
Push needs explicit opt-in and honors privacy opt-outs — no opt-in, no send. One-tap withdraw, no penalty.
Your credentials, your data
Each brand runs push on its own Apple and Android keys; device tokens are scoped to your team and never shared across brands.
Never bombarded
Push, email and SMS share one frequency cap, so a member is reached on the right channel — not on all of them at once.
