SAP Joule — governed loyalty & campaign data inside SAP.

We plan to bring the platform's same governed tools into SAP's Joule assistant, so operations and merchandising teams could reach loyalty and campaign data without leaving SAP. This is on the roadmap — not yet available — and your interest helps shape when it ships.

The idea

Why this is a credible next step.

The platform is already a standard, governed MCP layer — so it is designed to plug into MCP-capable enterprise assistants. That is the same mechanism already used for Claude Desktop and Microsoft Copilot.

One governed interface, many assistants

Because the platform exposes a standard MCP server, adding a new assistant is about connecting a surface — not rebuilding the plumbing. When Joule support ships, it would sit alongside the assistants already supported today under Run in Agent.

Governance that would come along for free

A Joule connection is designed to reuse what already exists: the same tenant key, the same per-tool scopes, the same audit trail and budget, and the same certified semantic layer that every number is read from. Nothing about the safety model would change to reach a new surface.

For ops & merchandising

What it would unlock.

When it ships, teams that run on SAP would get loyalty and campaign answers in the system they already use every day — with the guardrails intact.

Answers where ops already work

Merchandising and operations teams would ask about loyalty and campaign performance from inside SAP's Joule — no context-switch into another console, no export, just the number in the system they run the business on.

The same governed numbers

When it ships, Joule would read through the same certified semantic layer as every other surface, so a figure it returns would match the one on your dashboard. The assistant would not invent numbers.

The same guardrails, unchanged

A Joule connection would carry the same tenant key, per-tool scopes, audit trail and budget as Claude Desktop or Microsoft Copilot today — governance travels with the tool, not the surface.

Where this stands.

To be clear: SAP Joule support is not available today. It has not been shipped, and this page describes a planned direction rather than a live feature. There is no SAP partnership or certification to announce, and no dates to commit to yet.

What is real is the foundation it would build on — a standard, governed MCP server that already powers other enterprise assistants. Interest from teams who run on SAP is what shapes where this sits on the roadmap, so if this matters to you, tell us. It moves the priority.
