Activate · Send-Time Optimization
Send when each member has been active — and know why.
Send-time optimization times each message to when that member has historically been active, drawn transparently from their own engagement — with your audience's best time as the fallback for anyone too new to have a pattern yet. It's a glass box you can explain, not a black box you have to trust.
The timing problem
The right message at the wrong hour still gets missed.
Send everyone at the same time and you catch some members mid-morning and others fast asleep. The usual fix is a “smart” send time from a model nobody can quite explain. There's a simpler, honest way: send each member around the hours they've actually been active before — and be able to show exactly why that time was picked.
How it works
Their own history in. Their own best hour out.
Look at when the member has been active
For each member, the platform looks at the hours they've actually engaged before — the times of day their own activity clusters around. It's their real history, not a guess about people like them.
Pick the hour that fits that member
The send is timed to land when that member has tended to be active, so your message arrives at their moment rather than at whatever hour you happened to hit send.
Fall back to the audience's best time
For a newer member without much history yet, the platform uses the best time for your audience as a whole — a sensible default now, sharpening to their own pattern as they engage.
See exactly why a time was chosen
Because it's built on when a member has actually been active, you can look at the reason behind any send time. There's no hidden model to take on faith — the logic is right there to read.
A member's preferred send hour, read from the times they've been active before.
Why it matters
Better timing, without a model you can't explain.
Arrive at the member's moment
A message that lands when someone tends to be active has a better chance of being seen than one that lands when they're asleep or at work. Timing to their own pattern respects that, member by member.
A glass box, not a black box
The send time comes from when the member has engaged before — plainly, from their own history. You can explain it to a colleague, a member or an auditor, because there's nothing hidden to explain away.
Sensible from day one
New members don't get random timing while the platform 'figures them out'. They start on your audience's best time and move to their own as their activity builds up.
Transparent by design
No black box. No magic. Just when they've been active.
We're deliberate about what this is and isn't. It doesn't predict the future or run a model you can't see inside. It reads when a member has actually engaged before and sends around then — the kind of decision you can explain to anyone who asks.
It pairs naturally with Marketing Automation, so the sends your journeys already fire land at a better hour for each member.
Built on the member's own activity
The preferred hour comes from when that specific member has actually been active before — not from a model trained on strangers, and not from lookalikes.
Explainable end to end
For any member you can see why a time was chosen. It's transparent by design, so the 'why' is always available rather than locked inside a model.
An audience fallback, stated plainly
When a member doesn't have enough history yet, the platform uses your audience's best time and says so. No pretending to know something it can't yet know.
